Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Technical Project Lead (Silicon Engineering) to drive complex silicon initiatives from concept to production. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across systems, firmware, architecture, validation, design, and ASIC implementation to deliver cutting-edge Starlink silicon solutions.

The role demands a strong technical PM background, experience with ASIC design processes, and a track record of partnering with external IP and EDA vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 8+ years of technical project or program management experience.
• Master’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Satellite and/or consumer product lifecycle leadership is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of digital/analog/RF ASIC design processes end-to-end.
• Experience with external IP and EDA tool vendors.
• Experience with advanced node fabs, packaging substrates and OSAT partners.
• Understanding wafers to mass production steps in silicon projects.
• PM skills across silicon design, bring-up, qualification, ramp, and production.
• Ability to work with emulation/FPGA pre-silicon testing, ATE testing, and silicon packaging.
• Familiarity with Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex silicon projects from kick-off through production.
• Track and communicate schedules for front-end and backend ASIC work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring up new silicon quickly.
• Coordinate with silicon team and suppliers for development.
• Lead discussions to identify and rectify issues with internal and external teams.
