NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Senior Logic Design Engineer to drive silicon architecture for next‑gen CPU processors. You will explore dielet partitioning, 2.5D interposers, and die-to-die interfaces, coordinating with architecture, physical design, and packaging teams to meet area, performance, and power goals.
The role requires a Master’s in EE/CE/CS, 8+ years in high‑performance semiconductor design, and deep knowledge of digital design and cache coherency.
We are now looking for a Senior Logic Design Engineer! As a member of our CPU Cache Coherent Interconnects Design Team, you will be responsible for the silicon architecture and construction of our CPU processors, focusing on such tasks as dielet partitioning, packaging and die-stacking exploration, floorplanning and die-to-die interface planning. This position offers you the opportunity to have real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company impacting product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and the growing field of artificial intelligence! We have crafted a team of extraordinary people stretching around the globe, whose mission is to push the frontiers of what is possible today and define the platform for the future of computing. NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. We have some of the most brilliant and hardworking people in the world working for us. Are you creative and autonomous? Do you love the challenge of crafting the fastest and most power-efficient chips in their class? If so, we want to hear from you.
As a member of our core CPU team, you'll own the silicon architecture and construction plan for next-generation CPU processors. Explore 2D multi-chip module, 2.5D interposer and 3D hybrid-bonded dielet constructions, including the placement of IO and compute (CPU cores, caches and NOC) across dielets. Develop early floorplans, and plan die-to-die and off-chip IO, including UCIe, DRAM and PCIe. Work with architecture, logic design, physical design and packaging teams to achieve your area, performance, power and thermal goals.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and other objective job-related factors.
The expected base salary ranges for this position are: 168,000 USD – 264,500 USD for Level 4; and 196,000 USD – 310,500 USD for Level 5.
