Job summary

Ignite Now in Huntsville, AL seeks a Senior Signature/Data Analyst to support TEAMS Next MDS Engineering. This full-time role is based at the customer site in Huntsville, with telework allowed subject to requirements. You will contribute to target analysis products, trajectory notional planning, and post-flight validation for MDA flight tests.

Candidates need a bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of experience, or 12+ years with a master’s. Active interim Secret clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• 20+ years experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 12+ with a master’s degree.
• Experience in at least two areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, or geodesy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Support development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre- and post-mission activities for all MDA flight tests.
• Plan test activities and recommend team assignments for mission support.
• Contribute to target vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenes.
• Deploy for test missions and develop accurate Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick Look Brief, and Target Launch Time products within the required 24-hour quick-look timeframe.
• Participate in target development and test planning, including Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, and Target and Test Readiness Reviews; provide analysis and recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings on flight test targets.

Ignite is currently seeking a driven Senior Signature/Data Analyst to join our team supporting TEAMS Next MDS Engineering in Huntsville, AL. This full-time position is based at the customer site; telework is allowed subject to customer requirements and an agreed schedule. This role supports MDA Targets and Countermeasures in solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre- and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support.

Job Requirements

• Experience in at least two areas: trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, or geodesy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and with a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Physics highly desired; Master of Science in Engineering or Physics also preferred.
• Active security clearance beyond the interim minimum.
• Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problems.
• Skill using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Skill using MATLAB and TAOS; familiarity with STK.
• Experience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems, or hypersonic weapons.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must have at least an Interim Secret clearance.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with 20 or more years of experience, or a master’s degree with 12 or more years.

Other Requirements:

U.S. citizenship required. Travel required; frequency and duration to be confirmed.
