Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industry experience preferred.
• 10 years of previous management and supervision experience from a Class 1 railroad or Heavy Rail/Commuter Rail system.
• Knowledge of GCOR rules and regulations and railroad signal maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee FRA inspections, maintenance and repair of signal and communications infrastructure.
• Develops and manages annual budgets for the Signal department including capital planning.
• Supervise Signal Superintendents, Foremen, Inspectors and technicians.
• Respond to signal-related trouble calls including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance across all signal operations.
