Leidos in the Electronic Warfare Division seeks a Senior Signal Processing Engineer in Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA to research, design, and develop signal collection, processing and dissemination systems for EW missions.
The ideal candidate has 12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's or 10+ with a Master's, and is proficient in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Simulink; TS/SCI eligibility is required for the role. Leadership of technical teams and BD involvement are expected.
Today, Electronic Warfare (EW) is a growing enterprise – protecting the warfighter and our national security against ever‑adapting threats. Due to the continued growth, the Electronic Warfare Division at Leidos (in Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA) currently has an opening for a Senior Signal Processing Engineer.
As an EW Senior Signal Processing Engineer, you will research, design, and develop signal collection, processing and dissemination systems. Duties may include designing, developing, and analyzing systems for the extraction of information from signal sensors. You will support the Division by achieving program objectives, leading technical teams, and participating in business development activities. The ideal candidate possesses superior analytical and problem‑solving skills, operates independently with limited supervision, is a strong team player, and can establish solid working relationships with technical staff and external government customers.
Note: The salary range for this position is $180,000 – $270,000 for qualified candidates with an active clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to work onsite in our Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA offices.
