Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Principal R&D/Product Development Engineer - Signal Integrity to lead electrical design, simulation, and verification for high-speed products in connectors and cable assemblies. The role requires independence on projects, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and hands-on prototype evaluation through production verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in electrical or RF design or PCB design.
• Proficient with signal integrity analysis tools (Agilent ADS, Ansys HFSS, CST, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead signal integrity design, simulation, and validation across product development cycles.
• Perform SI simulations for multiple high-speed standards and define appropriate methodologies.
• Review PCB schematics and layouts and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Guide connector design and component qualifications from a SI perspective and drive improvements.
