Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks a SIGINT Payload System Engineer for a contract assignment in El Segundo, CA. Role focuses on design, integration and testing of advanced SIGINT systems for airborne and space missions, with strong emphasis on sensor technologies and data processing.

This 100% onsite position requires a current Tier 5 background clearance, a BS in engineering or related field, and proven SIGINT system experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, physics, math, data science or CS.
Proven design, integration and testing experience with SIGINT systems.
Strong sensor tech, data acquisition and processing knowledge.
Knowledge of comms systems and transmission protocols.
Excellent problem solving in fast-paced team environment.
Experience with simulation/modeling software for sensor systems.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of SIGINT systems to meet mission specs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors and data processing.
Perform performance, environmental tests and data validation.
Develop design, testing and operational procedures documentation.
Stay current with SIGINT innovations and propose improvements.
Participate in project planning and risk assessment.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
