Job summary

Leidos is seeking a SIEM Engineer to join a fast-paced, SAFe-based program in the Intel Sector’s Cyber & Analytics Business Area. The role focuses on configuring event data collection, parsing, correlation, and visualization to support actionable insights and robust security monitoring.

The candidate will work across teams to enhance audit data quality, implement dashboards, and sustain Splunk-based analytics in a multi-site environment. TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for U.S. positions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 12 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience with Splunk, ArcSight, Zenoss, StealthWatch, or TripWire.

Responsibilities

• Configure collection, parsing, correlation, and visualization of event data for a critical operational system.
• Support engineering and administration of Splunk multi-site clusters, indexers, forwarders, and search heads.
• Design and develop reporting solutions and dashboards based on end-user requirements.
• Improve audit data collection quality to reduce false positives/negatives and strengthen monitoring.
