Job summary

truData is seeking a Senior Shopify Developer with deep SAP integration experience to build and extend Shopify Plus storefronts on SAP back-ends. You will design and operate integration flows that keep Shopify and SAP ECC/S/4HANA in sync, working with a distributed truData team and client engineers.

The role covers themes, checkout, custom apps, and headless storefronts, with an emphasis on clean architecture, production-ready data flows, and robust error handling.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of web/e-commerce development with 4+ years of Shopify development, including Shopify Plus experience.
• Expert Liquid theme development and checkout extensibility via Shopify Functions.
• Strong experience with GraphQL Admin and Storefront APIs and headless storefronts.
• Proven SAP integration experience (ECC and/or S/4HANA) including iDocs, BAPIs, and OData services.
• Experience with middleware platforms delivering order-to-cash and inventory/pricing sync between Shopify and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Shopify Plus storefront features: themes, checkout extensions, and custom apps.
• Develop headless storefronts using Hydrogen and Storefront API.
• Implement Shopify–SAP integration flows (order-to-cash, inventory, pricing, customer master) with SAP back-end.
• Build and maintain middleware integrations (SAP CPI/BTP, MuleSoft, Boomi).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and fix integration failures; ensure quality with tests and code reviews.
