Job summary

RemoteJobsOne is seeking a Shopify Specialist contractor to support a customer project focused on e‑commerce workflows and analytics. You will apply your deep Shopify expertise to review task structures, provide feedback, and help train next‑generation AI systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the Shopify ecosystem, strong knowledge of data objects (orders, products, customers, reporting), and experience with analytics tools such as SQL or Looker.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Shopify experience across store ops, dev, or analytics.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify data model (orders, products, customers, reporting).
• Strong ecommerce analytics background: conversions, retention, cohorts, revenue.
• Clear written and verbal feedback communication.
• Experience advising on best practices for Shopify analytics work.
• Experience with multiple Shopify stores or as consultant is a plus.
• Familiarity with Shopify Plus, advanced reporting, and SQL/BI tools is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Review Shopify task structures for realism vs platform workflows.
• Provide actionable written and verbal feedback on analytics scenarios.
• Advise on Shopify core data objects—orders, products, customers, reporting.
• Identify gaps, edge cases, or unrealistic assumptions in scenarios.
• Recommend improvements to task structures, terminology, and metrics.
• Ensure terminology aligns with Shopify/e-commerce analytics language.
• Suggest additional cases to reflect operator and analyst perspectives.
