Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of diesel mechanics and heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• 3–5 years in a managerial or senior supervisory role within shop or fleet maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and diesel trucks.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems and diagnostic techniques.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and shop management software.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technicians, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.
• Hands‑on diagnostics, maintenance and repairs when needed.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Oversee parts inventory, procurement, and stock levels.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop shop staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Maintain service records and logs for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with operations, safety, and procurement to align priorities.
• Enforce safety standards and regulatory requirements.
