Job summary

ARMADA INC. in Portsmouth, VA seeks a Planner / Scheduler to create project plans, schedules and coordination documents for multiple shipyard projects. You will work with production to track progress, budgets and subcontractors, delivering weekly updates.

The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, 5+ years in shipyard environments, and knowledge of CPM/EVMS. PMP/CAPM preferred; OSHA-10 may be provided. Exempt, full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum five years in a shipyard production environment, preferably US Navy repair or new construction shipyards.
• PM certifications (PMP PgMP CAPM) preferred.
• OSHA-10 may be provided by the company.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules and submit weekly updates.
• Monitor project budgets and job costing for prime and subcontractors; prepare reports.
• Prepare weekly Project Status Reports and budget updates for reviews.
• Meet with Superintendents weekly to update progress and ETC runouts.
• Input information into scheduling software and Excel spreadsheets.
• Prepare daily/weekly planning reports and government reviews.
