Job summary

Ramda Metal Specialties, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA/QC Inspector focused on GD&T for sheet metal manufacturing. You will cover day-to-day quality tasks and assist with in-process inspections, ensuring products meet customer specs and quality standards.

The role requires reading blueprints, performing FAIRs, and experience with ISO9001/AS9100; you will calibrate inspection equipment and support QMS compliance within a manufacturing environment in Gardena, CA.

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and specifications per ASME Y14.5.
Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIRs).
Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Leadership and organizational skills.
3+ years' experience as an inspector in a metal fabrication environment.
Knowledge of CMM devices and laser scanners; PC-DMIS a plus.
U.S. citizen or permanent resident per ITAR regulations.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts and geometry to practical scenarios.

Responsibilities

Monitoring, measuring and testing products (in-process and final inspection) using advanced inspection techniques with instruments such as height gauges, gauge pins, thread gauges and comparators.
Complete inspection reports and documentation in accordance with Customer specifications.
Identify and verify material and specification requirements related to product and any unique requirements from purchase orders.
Assist in providing leadership and training to the QC department and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
Calibrating Inspection Equipment and creating records in Simpletrak.
Other duties as assigned.
