As a Sheet Metal Installer II & III, you will fabricate, install, and repair complex ductwork on commercial projects, applying mastery-level dry-side knowledge and leading by example.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial sheet metal/HVAC installation and fabrication with mastery-level knowledge of dry-side applications, design, and complex systems.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent preferred; journeyman license strongly preferred.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, working in confined spaces or heights, and extended use of hand/power tools.
• Field safety emphasis: OSHA regulations, PPE, hazard assessments, and risk mitigation on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Independently fabricate, assemble, install, and repair advanced ductwork per blueprints and SMACNA standards.
• Perform layout, field measurements, complex modifications, and precise sealing/hanging for optimal airflow.
• Conduct equipment startups, balancing, testing, and troubleshooting on-site.
• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, shop drawings, and as-built plans to coordinate installations.
• Lead small crews or act as lead installer; mentor Level I & II installers.
• Document startup reports, test data, material logs, and compliance paperwork for handover.
• Uphold OSHA safety standards and PPE usage on all jobsites.
