You will develop roadmaps for equipment, drive DFM in NPI, and partner with design to optimize fabrication and welding methods.

The role emphasizes standardizing global equipment, optimizing capacity across facilities, and building strategic outsourcing relationships to enhance throughput and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering required.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering for soft-tooled sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience managing new machine tool acquisitions through start-up to throughput.

Responsibilities

• Lead area layouts, tooling, and equipment tests for capacity projects.
• Support DFM in NPI for sheet metal components.
• Contribute to facility transformation and tech transfer.
• Document processes and implement continuous improvement.
• Promote continuous improvement with shop floor personnel.
• Ensure synchronized material and information flows for efficiency.
• Deploy Generac tools and processes across production.
• Support cost reduction and customer fulfillment goals.
