Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to design, customize, and maintain SharePoint portals supporting DoD intelligence operations at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will create custom web parts, workflows, and UI components to enable secure data access for tactical units and coalition partners.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570.1-M Level II certification, and hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and SDLC within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in SharePoint Development with customized code, web parts, and workflows.
• Minimum 5 years in SDLC with Agile, SCRUM, or Lean.
• Minimum 5 years with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Minimum 5 years testing methods (Unit, System, Functional, UAT).
• Minimum 5 years defect tracking and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities

Position Overview: Praescient Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Developer to join our team supporting the Army G-2’s Data Capabilities Division (DCD), Intelligence and Automation Operations (IAO) at Fort Belvoir, VA. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, customizing, and maintaining the digital ecosystem and SharePoint portals used to synchronize intelligence content and ensure seamless data access for tactical units, joint forces, and coalition partners across multiple networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• SharePoint Customization & Development: Design, build, and modify custom SharePoint applications, web parts, and advanced workflows to fully utilize platform capabilities.
• Front-End Integration: Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery to develop clean, intuitive user interfaces for high-visibility portals and repositories.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) under an Agile/SCRUM framework, estimating levels of effort and aligning development with mission priorities.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Execute rigorous testing protocols, including Unit, System, Functional, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Defect Tracking: Identify, log, and report software defects utilizing a formal bug tracking system, collaborating closely with QA analysts and project managers.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior personnel regarding development best practices and procedural standards.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of dedicated experience in SharePoint Development (including customized code, custom web parts, and workflow generation).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience navigating the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) via Agile, SCRUM, or Lean methodologies.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Minimum of 5 years conducting various development testing methods (Unit, System, Functional, UAT).
• Minimum of 5 years documenting software defects using bug-tracking software.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience mentoring junior development personnel.
• Security Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret / SCI with a Special Background Investigation (SBI) and eligibility to obtain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• Technical Certification: Must possess a valid baseline DoD 8570.1-M / DoDD 8140 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) upon onboarding.
