Job summary

Praescient Analytics, based at Fort Belvoir, VA, seeks a Senior Data Steward / Policy Manager to lead data governance, architecture, and quality management to sustain a Common Intelligence Picture.

You will coordinate across Army IC/DoD data councils, onboard government data sources, draft SOPs, and ensure compliance with AR 381-10 and DoD security requirements. TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship are required.

Position Overview: Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior Data Steward / Policy Manager to support the Data Capabilities Division (DCD) under the Army G-2. This role is critical in providing data-centric support and operational intelligence integration across the Army Intelligence Security Enterprise (AISE). You will lead efforts in data governance, architecture, and quality management to ensure commanders maintain a Common Intelligence Picture (CIP). Key Responsibilities:

• Data Governance & Integration: Provide comprehensive data integration support, including data architecture, warehousing, quality management, and metadata management.
• Operational Support: Support the government in determining Army-wide data requirements and inherent resourcing needs to deliver validated requirements to the Department of the Army.
• Strategic Engagement: Represent Army Intelligence at IC/DoD/Army data councils, committees, and working groups.
• Onboarding & Cataloging: Onboard government-directed data sources and curate Army authoritative data sources within IC or DoD enterprise Data Catalogs.
• Documentation: Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all tasks, and complete Data Integration Approval Forms (DIAF) or Data Sharing Agreements (DSA) to facilitate data onboarding.
• Required Qualifications: Experience & Education
• Direct Experience: Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in data governance, data architecture, metadata management, and data discovery.
• Leadership: Minimum of 4 years of experience leading teams and managing tasks in an intelligence-related discipline (planning, collection, or analysis).
• Intelligence Community Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in foreign disclosure or intelligence dissemination.
• Education (Desired):
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• OR Associate degree with 7 years of intelligence experience.
• OR High School Diploma with 9 years of intelligence experience. Technical Skills
• Systems Expertise: Familiarity with the Army Intelligence Data Platform (AIDP) and Automated Data Governance Solutions (DADGS).
• Methodology: Ability to execute and record tasks utilizing an agile framework and associated tools.
• Policy: In-depth understanding of AR 381-10 and other intelligence oversight regulations.
• Certification Requirement: Current DoDD 8140.01 (formerly 8570.01-M) IAT Level II certification. Examples Include: CompTIA Security+ CE, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA Cloud+, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH).
• Required: Active TS/SCI Level Clearance (U.S. Citizenship)
• The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $140,000.00 (annualized USD).
