Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Software Engineer – SharePoint Developer to build, enhance, and support SharePoint across SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) and SharePoint On-Prem. A focus will be migrations using AvePoint Fly, with automation to keep the platform stable and compliant.

You will work with platform owners, infrastructure, and security partners to resolve production issues, streamline processes, and deliver repeatable migration and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SharePoint On-Prem (2019) and SharePoint Online (hybrid)
• Proficient in migration tooling (AvePoint Fly, ShareGate, Content Matrix)
• Strong PowerShell skills (SharePoint Mgmt Shell, PnP.PowerShell)
• Knowledge of SharePoint architecture (sites, lists, permissions)
• Familiarity with SQL Server as it relates to SharePoint operations
• Development capability in C#/.NET or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Understanding of enterprise identity concepts (claims/SAML) and least privilege
• Ability to document and hand off operational work

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support SharePoint Online and On-Prem farms
• Plan and execute migrations using AvePoint Fly
• Build automation for site provisioning and lifecycle management
• Create tooling for migrations readiness and validation
• Develop integrations using Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs/CSOM
• Support On-Prem components and patching with IT partners
• Coordinate with Windows/IIS and SQL teams for DR readiness
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement root-cause fixes
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and engineering standards
• Participate in escalation or on-call rotation
