Title: SharePoint Developer

Duration: Contract or Fulltime

Location: 100% remote Permanent

Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled SharePoint Developer to create, code, perform O & M and implement SharePoint applications.

Your responsibilities will involve developing software solutions by studying requirements analysis and information needs, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, performing software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.

Ultimately, the role of the SharePoint Developer is to build and maintain high-quality, efficient and user-friendly SharePoint applications that meet our users’ needs and comply with coding standards and technical design.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and implement Best Practices for SharePoint development
• Work with BA/PM to address customer concerns, questions and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with Federal counterparts on solutioning for customers
• Successfully work in Agile environment performing development as well as Peer Review (two-weeks sprints)
• Design, develop and maintain key components of customer SharePoint & Teams sites
• Address and remediate incidents and tasks from customers
• Implement and maintain SharePoint-based workflows
• Work with the team to design and develop custom SharePoint solutions
• Integrate SharePoint with other existing systems
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, etc.
• Maintain product quality by carrying out reviews, performing ongoing refactoring of code, and implementing any necessary fixes or enhancements
• Ensure all solutions are properly tested and meet user requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a SharePoint Developer
• Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation
• Understanding of UI/UX
• Experience with .NET languages (C#, VB .NET)
• Proven testing and debugging capabilities
• Database and documentation expertise
• Cloud technology experience, i.e. Yammer, MS Flow, MS Planner
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
