Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Sr Principal Systems Engineer (SharePoint) to support government activities in Annapolis Junction, MD or Sterling, VA. The role focuses on designing architectures, integrating SharePoint with load balancing, and guiding secure, scalable infrastructure as part of enterprise Apps services.

The position requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, and 8+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline with 8+ years of experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or equivalent security certification is required.
• Experience with SharePoint indexing, external sources, and search relevance.

Responsibilities

• Designs and defines system architecture and system design documentation for new or existing computer systems.
• Analyzes user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
• Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
• Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
• Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
• Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
• Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives
