Job summary

The Town of Edgartown seeks to fill the temporary position of Part-Time Outreach Worker, with 12-18 hours per week. The role is non-benefitted and limited-term based on grant funding.

Responsibilities include meeting with Edgartown’s older adults in homes and in our building, facilitating access to services, coordinating transportation, and providing support and administrative functions. A minimum of two years’ experience in gerontology or related fields is required, or an equivalent combination

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in gerontology, social work or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Google suites.

Responsibilities

• Meet with older adults in homes and in our building.
• Facilitate access to services and transportation coordination.
• Provide support and administrative functions.
