Role Overview

TAS is seeking a Senior ServiceNow ITOM Developer to support a long-term public sector engagement. In this role, you’ll lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM solutions including Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping. You’ll work closely with enterprise teams to integrate tools, optimize configurations, and ensure end-to-end visibility across cloud and hybrid environments.

This is a 1099 contract role paying $65/hour, with a flexible remote work arrangement. Candidates near McLean, VA or Plano, TX are preferred, but remote work is acceptable.

Key Responsibilities

Implement ServiceNow ITOM modules using industry best practices

Design and configure Discovery schedules, probes, sensors, and event rules

Build and maintain integrations with monitoring and management tools

Implement Service Mapping and Event Management to support ITOM use cases

Configure and manage MID Servers

Customize forms, workflows, and automation rules within the platform

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and advise on architectural design

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience with ServiceNow ITOM: Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping

Hands-on experience with probes, sensors, patterns, and API integrations

Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure and monitoring tools

Experience working with MID Servers and automated alerts

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in public sector or regulated enterprise environments

Knowledge of SaaS/PaaS architecture, cloud automation, and multi-tenancy

ServiceNow certification in ITOM or relevant modules

Familiarity with Azure or AWS environments and integrations

Location: Remote (Preferred: McLean, VA or Plano, TX)

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
