Job summary

MIH Systems Group is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our NYC Metro service team. The role focuses on start-up and service of HVAC equipment across commercial applications, including air-conditioning, heating, humidity control, and energy management.

The ideal candidate has solo field experience, a Journeyman license, EPA Type 1/2 certification, and a clean driving record. OSHA 10 preferred; you will troubleshoot, repair, and ensure dependable customer service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of solo field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Advanced knowledge of refrigeration.
• Controls background a plus.
• Manufacturing representative a plus.
• EPA Type 1 & 2 of universal certification
• Must have your own hand tools.
• MUST have a clean driving record.
• OSHA 10-hour training certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

The HVAC Service Technician specializes in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. We are searching for both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to help support the growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, be dependable and have good customer service skills. This role would service our NYC Metro area.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of solo field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning. (Journeyman)

Estimated Salary: $55/hr - $65/hr, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
