This role will involve diagnosing and repairing various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and aerial lifts. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial/manufacturing field, along with the necessary qualifications to handle complex repair projects.

Qualifications

5 or more years of experience with industrial/manufacturing equipment.
Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret specifications and manuals.

Responsibilities

Conduct inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts and various construction equipment.
Lead complex repair projects requiring multiple technicians.
Document and report the status of repairs and maintenance.

Insight Global is currently hiring a Senior Service Technician for a premier provider of equipment rental solutions in the Richmond, VA area. This position will be onsite Monday through Friday during first shift and will be direct hire! The ideal candidate will have at least 5 or more years of experience with industrial/manufacturing equipment such as scissor and vertical mast lifts, aeriel, boom lifts, forklifts, earthmoving, generators, compressors, construction equipment (excavators/dozers), etc.

Job Description:

Conduct inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts, aerial lifts, and various construction equipment.
Determine necessary parts for repairs and communicate requirements to the parts department.
Lead complex repair projects requiring multiple technicians.
Create parts lists and estimate labor time for repairing customer-owned equipment.
Document and report the status of repairs and maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and enhance overall service efficiency.
Stay informed about the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to heavy equipment repair.
