JOB TITLE: Senior Service HVAC Technician

REPORTS TO: Service Manager

Essential Duties: Primary experience on air/water cooled chillers. Must be able to work in a team environment, perform troubleshooting, maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and installation of commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment. Equipment may include split systems, mini split systems, multizone, RTUs, self-contained systems, controls, AHUs, EFs, pumps, piping, and other miscellaneous equipment at customer requests.

Job Description:

• Complete service contracts, quoted projects, and demand service calls as directed.
• Develop long-term customer relationships and explain work performed to customer satisfaction.
• Communicate and document project status to stakeholders.
• Serve as a lead and provide technical support to service technicians.
• Coordinate subcontractors' work and train technicians.
• Purchase materials and issue purchase orders.
• Drive company vehicles safely following policies and safety requirements.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on service vehicles.
• Pass drug screen and background check.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Valid driver’s license, Universal EPA certification, professional appearance, knowledge of chill water systems, commercial A/C, water source equipment, airflow, and duct systems. Ability to follow instructions, handle heavy exertion, and perform physical activities including climbing, lifting, and reaching.

Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED; minimum of 10 years in air conditioning/refrigeration environment.
