This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Service Designer II in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to design and deliver high-impact services and digital experiences for enterprise users in the public sector. You will lead the end-to-end service design process, from stakeholder engagement and user research to prototype development and implementation, ensuring that solutions are human-centered and effective. Collaborating closely with multifunctional teams, you will shape strategic initiatives and influence design practices across programs. This role provides the chance to champion human-centered design principles, mentor peers, and contribute to the evolution of user experience within government-focused projects. You will work on data-intensive products and services, applying design thinking to solve complex challenges and enhance customer and employee experiences.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead service design initiatives, translating complex business challenges into intuitive and usable solutions.
  • Conduct user research, co-design workshops, wireframing, and prototyping to validate design decisions.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, analysts, and engineers to ensure seamless execution and implementation of services.
  • Develop and implement human-centered design practices and best-in-class UX methodologies.
  • Advocate for user-centric approaches and influence organizational culture through mentorship and guidance.
  • Contribute to strategic roadmaps and ensure solutions align with customer experience and digital transformation goals.
  • Support community-of-practice initiatives, including process development, peer review, and hiring support.
Requirements:
  • U.S. residency and eligibility to pass public trust clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or related field, with at least 8 years of general IT experience including 4 years in UX; or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in human-centered design for digital transformation and customer experience initiatives.
  • Agile environment experience and familiarity with UX design for data-intensive products.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas to diverse stakeholders.
  • Desired: experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning Web Components, research operations, and Dovetail research repository.
