Qualifications

• 10+ years architecting and managing Windows/Linux servers in large enterprises.
• Proficient in VMware vSphere, Hyper‑V; cloud infrastructure experience (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Deep server security, patching, and vulnerability remediation practices.
• Experience SAN/NAS storage, RAID, backups with Veeam/Commvault/Veritas.
• Design HA/DR with clustered servers, replication, and failover strategies.
• Monitor and tune server performance; optimize resources for uptime.
• Strong scripting in PowerShell, Bash, Python for automation.
• Expert in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Use SCCM for configuration automation and compliance enforcement.
• Know ISO27001/ISO30100, GDPR, HIPAA; maintain audit-ready configs.
• Document server builds, runbooks, inventories, change records.
• Communicate with IT, security, production, mgmt; global teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with production, management, IT to align server designs.
• Oversee daily health of on‑prem and virtualized servers; manage VMs.
• Apply hardening, access control, and timely OS/security patches.

• Lead root-cause analysis for outages; manage backup/DR drills.
• Stay informed on new server technologies; propose upgrades.
• Coordinate deployments with overseas teams; share knowledge regionally.
• Manage secure remote access (RDP/SSH) and privileged access controls.
