Overview

Senior SEO Strategist at HigherVisibility. This remote position is based in the United States. The role requires a Bachelor Degree or higher and is suitable for job seekers with relevant education and experience in marketing/communications.

Responsibilities

• Help clients establish organic search KPIs that matter to clients\' unique business goals and provide actionable reports to help them reach these goals.
• Develop and consult on search engine optimization efforts that provide tangible results for clients based on previously defined goals.
• Diagnose technical issues and traffic drops, and present findings to the client.
• Stay current on the latest SEO tools, reporting capabilities, and influencers to keep HigherVisibility at the forefront of the industry.
• Proactively keep clients and internal HigherVisibility teams informed on current SEO trends and changes.
• Deliver high-level strategic recommendations for customized, best-in-class SEO for each client.
• Welcome feedback with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn, grow, and improve.
• Think critically and deliver honest, constructive feedback to ensure the best possible work for clients.
• Lead SEO projects of all sizes and contribute to growing the SEO business for each client.
• Contribute to new business pitches.
• Foster a positive team environment, encouraging morale, collaboration, education, and professional development.
• Find opportunities to improve the team, the company, processes, and client outcomes; take initiative and act as a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Understand and champion the HigherVisibility mission and the SEO team vision to internal teams and clients.
• Participate in client kick-off calls and coordinate with relevant teams to organize effective campaign strategies.
• Be available for quarterly status meetings with clients and comfortable leading client calls.
• Assist the Account Management Team in explaining campaign strategy or addressing client concerns regarding performance.
• Work with the Account Management Team to demonstrate value and improve client retention rates.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in Search Engine Optimization.
• Bachelor\'s Degree in marketing, advertising, journalism, or other communications-related field.
• Strong understanding of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and other pertinent SEO tools.
• Advanced understanding of all areas of SEO including technical, on-page, off-page, local, and mobile.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey relevant information to diverse audiences including C-Suite, marketing teams, and general employees.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines while balancing internal and external expectations.
• Google Analytics and Google AdWords certifications are a plus.
• Agency experience is a plus.
