Job summary

Kake is seeking a Senior SEO/GEO Software Engineer to build systems that help websites get crawled, rendered, indexed, and surfaced by search engines and AI-powered answer engines.

The role is hands-on, focusing on technical SEO, site performance, and automation. You will build internal tools to automate SEO at scale and publish high-quality content programmatically while collaborating with marketing, content and product teams.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a software engineer
3+ years focused on SEO/GEO
Solid understanding of how search engines crawl, render and index websites
Hands-on experience with redirects, canonicalization, structured data and Core Web Vitals
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Build and maintain systems that help search engines crawl, render and index websites
Fix technical SEO issues such as redirects, URL structure and duplicate content
Optimize Core Web Vitals and site performance and page speed
Build internal tools to automate SEO tasks at scale
Publish high-quality content programmatically
Partner with marketing, content and product teams to ship SEO improvements
