Focus Digital is seeking a Senior Content Writer with SEO expertise to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced writer who crafts content that is compelling for readers and optimized for search engines.

You’ll work across multiple clients, producing high-quality content that drives organic visibility and results. This full-time position focuses on content creation and SEO writing across multiple client accounts, with a fully remote arrangement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional content writing experience.
• Experience writing for multiple clients or stakeholders at the same time.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization, content structure for search).
• Proven ability to research and write about a variety of topics/industries.
• Experience incorporating editorial feedback and revising content based on client or team input.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and optimize content for multiple clients simultaneously.
• Apply SEO best practices to every piece of content, including keyword usage, on-page optimization, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
• Research topics thoroughly to ensure accuracy, depth, and relevance for each client’s audience.
• Adapt tone, voice, and style to match different client brands and industries.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to align content with business goals and content briefs.
• Use AI tools to support (not replace) the content creation process, ensuring quality and originality.
• Meet deadlines consistently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions professionally and efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal strategists and project managers on content planning and account strategy.
• Provide recommendations for content improvements and expansion opportunities.
• Report to the managing editor on account health, content performance, and team development needs.

Requirements

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of professional content writing experience
• Demonstrated experience writing for multiple clients or stakeholders at the same time
• Solid understanding of SEO principles (keyword research, on-page optimization, content structure for search)
• Proven ability to research and write about a variety of topics/industries
• Experience incorporating editorial feedback and revising content based on client or team input

Skills & Traits

• Strong writing fundamentals: grammar, clarity, structure, and storytelling
• Comfortable with project management tools (TeamWork experience preferred)
• Comfortable using AI tools as part of the content workflow
• Detail-oriented, with strong time-management and organizational skills
• Clear, professional communication style, especially when handling client-facing correspondence
• Ability to take initiative and work independently on assigned projects

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with content marketing or agency environments
• Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console)
• Background writing across multiple industries or verticals

This is a full-time position focused on content creation and SEO writing across multiple client accounts.
