Job summary

Blacksmith Agency, an AI-first digital agency, is seeking an SEO and AI Search Manager to own search for a book of B2B and growing-brand clients. You’ll shape the technical roadmap, set content priorities, and narrate the ranking story for clients on demand.

You will lead technical SEO, keyword strategy, and on-page optimization, coordinating with writers and AI to produce drafts, while expanding presence in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity alongside traditional results.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, site architecture.
• Drive keyword strategy, on-page optimization, content priorities with writers/AI.
• Win visibility in AI search (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity) alongside organic results.
• Manage local search and multi-location SEO; provide GA4/Search Console reporting.
