Job summary

Omdia's semiconductor research team is seeking a Senior Analyst to develop and aggregate data for the AMFT forecast reports, including semiconductor component and application forecasts. You will build and maintain databases, apply models, and explain forecast reasoning to colleagues.

You will collaborate across analysts, liaise with equipment teams, and partner with sales and product teams to drive new leads and renewals.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years relevant semiconductor industry or analyst experience.
• Understanding of semiconductor component markets and drivers.
• Collaborative across teams and building mutual relationships.
• Ability to form and defend data-backed opinions on trends.
• MS Excel database expertise for data building and pivot tables.
• Ability to synthesize insights from multiple sources and see the big picture.
• Multitasking with prioritization and task delegation.

Responsibilities

• Generate, maintain, and expand databases for semiconductor components and end-applications.
• Use data models to generate market forecasts and justify them to the team.
• Collaborate with analysts to align assumptions and data across projects.
• Liaise with equipment analysts to gather data and validate forecasts.
• Respond to inquiries regarding datasets, methodologies, and assumptions.
• Support thought leadership and establish Omdia as a leading authority.
• Own models and datasets and adapt to market changes.
• Partner with sales and product teams to generate leads and support renewals.
• Multitask and meet deliverables regularly.
