Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting a broad range of semiconductor processing equipment, including vacuum systems, wet etch, lithography, and CMP tools.
  • Experience with multiple, highly complex semiconductor equipment (e.g., vacuum, dry etch, PVD/CVD, wet etch, advanced lithography systems, high-volume metrology systems).
  • Experience leading tool installations (including reading and interpreting cut sheets), proficiency in AutoCAD design, demonstrated ability to lead teams, and experience working effectively with vendors.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

About the jobIn this role, you will support the microLED and AR development. You will focus on expert-level maintenance, support, and optimization of semiconductor processing equipment. Support advanced vacuum systems, related to CVD, ICP, and RIE, you will have a broad understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and be able to support other critical toolsets if needed, not limited to ECP, CMP, lithography, and wet etch. You will leverage the experience to support installations, troubleshoot complex issues, implement and perform preventative maintenance, to maximize the reliability and performance of various toolsets.

Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on semiconductor manufacturing equipment across various process areas (vacuum, lithography, metrology, wet processing, etc.).
  • Utilize technical expertise and diagnostic skills to resolve complex equipment issues and implement solutions, including using schematics, diagrams, and test equipment.
  • Provide comprehensive support for critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment across various process areas, including vacuum, lithography, metrology, and wet processing.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support and manage equipment upgrades and new tool installations, ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and foster a collaborative work environment, and support teams cross-functionally.
