Job summary

Realign Llc is seeking an Automation Tester in Charlotte, NC, onsite, for a full-time role with 10+ years of hands-on automation experience. The candidate will design and implement automated test strategies for data mapping, APIs and front-end tests using Selenium and Cucumber.

The role requires strong collaboration with developers and stakeholders, with banking knowledge preferred. Primary focus is on scalable automation, test dashboards and defect tracking across projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
• Experience designing and executing automated test scripts and plans.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to analyze data mapping documents and business requirements for test design.
• Experience with API testing and Selenium/Cucumber.
• Ability to create automation deliverables including test plans, estimates, reports, and dashboards.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA, HP ALM or Octane.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with developers and stakeholders.
• Banking or capital markets domain knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data mapping documents and business requirements to design comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Design, develop, maintain and analyze automated test scripts.
• Create automation deliverables including automation test plans, automation estimation, test reports and automation dashboards.
• Use Selenium Web and API testing or Selenium/Cucumber.
• Execute automation scripts, preparing execution reports and defect logs.
• Identify, log, and track data defects using tools like JIRA or HP ALM or Octane.
• Excellent communication for collaborating with developers and stakeholders.
• Domain: Banking knowledge, Capital markets knowledge preferred.
