Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks a Sr Segment Risk Manager – Business Continuity & Resiliency to lead operational risk oversight and own the design and execution of continuity, disaster recovery, and resiliency programs for a major business segment.

This role ensures effective risk governance, regulatory compliance, and preparedness for disruptive events, coordinating between the business segment, Corporate Risk, and Audit while guiding remediation and testing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in Audit, Compliance, Risk Management or Operational Risk.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree 4 additional years of segment-specific or risk-related experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and regulatory risk programs for a major business segment.
• Evaluate effectiveness of internal controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Direct self-monitoring, testing, and Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
• Ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.
• Coordinate between business segment, Corporate Risk, and Audit.
• Escalate significant risks and remediation needs to senior leadership.
• Lead continuity testing, training, and post-incident improvement activities.
• Develop and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and BIAs.
• Align disaster recovery strategies with recovery objectives (RTO/RPO).
