LONG Building Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for Security Systems in Corrections, based in Renton, WA. You will oversee projects from start to finish, mentor other project managers, coordinate planning, procurement, and scheduling to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• 4-year Construction Management Degree or 2-year technical degree plus 6 years of security systems experience.
• Or 2 years tech school and 8 years of commercial security project management or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and alarms.
• Experience in engineering, installation, management, and construction procedures.
• PMP Certification or other project management certification or training.
• Ability to travel to and inspect job sites and visit customer locations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned projects according to proposal, drawings, specs, cost estimates, customer expectations, and time frames.
• Direct engineering in submittals, installation drawings, equipment procurement, and scheduling.
• Manage project schedules using MS Project and coordinate with contractors.
• Schedule personnel, equipment, subcontracting, and material to meet project schedule requirements.
• Monitor costs and take corrective actions when estimates are exceeded.
• Ensure contract documentation is up to date and accurate.
• Order equipment based on approved submittals to meet installation requirements.
• Mentor and lead project teams and participate in progress meetings.
