Securitas Technology, a global leader in integrated security solutions, seeks an Applications Engineer to prepare cost estimates and budgets for alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and related low-voltage installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in fire alarm and/or security/low voltage field.
• Education background equivalent to BA/BS in Business or Engineering; substitution allowed for equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA and NEC codes and ability to read construction drawings and scope documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineered estimates and budgets for alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and low-voltage installations.
• Analyze blueprints and specifications to identify cost-saving value-engineering opportunities.
• Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing and timely bid proposals.
• Maintain pricing databases and support RFP/RFI/RFQ/RFM&s processes as needed.
• Coordinate with sales and project management for smooth handoffs and project execution.
