Job summary

ProSync Technology Group in Port Hueneme, CA is seeking a Security Specialist to help ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations for the Navy mission. The role focuses on safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment.

Two years of PHYSEC/INFOSEC experience in DoD/IC, knowledge of alarm and access control systems, and an active Secret clearance or higher are required. Bachelor's degree or higher is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Two years of PHYSEC and INFOSEC experience in the DoD or IC.
• Experience with alarm and access control systems is desired.
• If a candidate does not meet the education and experience quals, six years of related security activity can be considered.
• Two of the six years should be in PHYSEC/INFOSEC in the DoD or IC.
• Active Secret clearance or higher is required.

The pay for this position ranges between $75-90k with some flexibility depending on Location, experience and overall qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position provides support to the Tech Library and includes:

• Performing administrative tasks and basic document control while contributing to the organization’s information management needs; includes opportunities for professional growth across additional functional areas.
• Demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and/or Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), showcasing a strong understanding of the intricate interplay between safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment.

• Two (2) years of experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.
• Experience with alarm and access control systems is desired.
• If a proposed individual does not meet both the desired education and experience qualifications, six (6) years of professional technical activities related to security would be considered equivalent.
• Two (2) of these six (6) years should demonstrate experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) in the DoD or IC.
• A minimum active Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
