Job summary

KBR in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Senior Security Specialist to join our team. An active TS/SCI clearance is required to support DoD, SAP, IC, and other industrial security programs, ensuring compliance with government and company policies.

The role involves developing security procedures, conducting briefings, coordinating with government agencies, and maintaining liaison with outside entities. On-site location, with minimal travel and full-time hours, offers a dynamic defense communications

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 4 years experience in a DoD, SAP, IC or other Industrial Security programs and in-depth knowledge of the 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM, SAP, IC or other government security regulatory manuals
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Administers and coordinates the DoD, SAP, IC or other industrial security programs and other security activities to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures that are non-IT related
• Typical security related issues may include physical access to buildings, room, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation and debriefings
• Develops and implements security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel
• Conducts security briefings
• Participates in the development of and conducts security education programs
• Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions
• Maintains liaison with outside agencies
• Develops and implements procedures and coordinates procedure manual revisions

KBR is seeking a Security Specialist to join our team in Ann Arbor, MI. An active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance is required.

• Location: On-site
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
• Working Hours: Full-time; 40 hours per week

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation
