Job summary

Forrester Research is seeking a Security and Risk Senior Analyst to conduct research and deliver strategic guidance on MDR, MSS, cybersecurity and risk consulting, and zero trust for government and private sectors. You will produce reports, presentations, templates, and guidance for security leaders across industries.

The role involves collaborating with a small high-performance team, presenting at events, and building relationships with senior security professionals, vendors, and journalists.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of security and risk experience as a practitioner, consultant, product/product marketing leader, architect, or research analyst.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to distill complex ideas into clear guidance.
• Experience working with public sector clients at federal, state, or local levels preferred.
• Ability to travel 30% to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into evolving trends and best practices in MDR, MSS, cybersecurity, risk consulting, and zero trust domains.
• Deliver multiple complex research projects per year with actionable insights for security and risk leaders.
• Present at events, deliver client speeches and webinars, and provide advisory sessions.
• Consult with global clients to apply Forrester research to their environments and problems.
