Clarity Innovations is seeking a Security Researcher to lead complex vulnerability research and reverse engineering efforts. You will guide teams through the full research lifecycle from planning to delivery, applying advanced static/dynamic analysis across diverse architectures.

The ideal candidate will have TS/SCI clearance and strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills, with hands-on experience in security research and exploitation techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline; four years of hands-on experience may substitute for degree.
• Demonstrated experience conducting vulnerability research and reverse engineering, including independent complex investigations.
• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers or security researchers.
• Experience using reverse engineering and disassembly tools (Ghidra, IDA, Binary Ninja).
• Strong knowledge of Linux internals, networking, and kernel behavior.

Responsabilités

• Lead vulnerability research and reverse engineering efforts aligned with customer objectives.
• Define research strategies and guide teams through planning, kickoff, execution, and delivery.
• Perform advanced static and dynamic analysis with disassemblers, debuggers, emulators, tracers, and fuzzers.
• Identify vulnerabilities, conduct root-cause analysis, and document reproducible findings.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits and operational exploit capabilities for authorized requirements.
• Evaluate and bypass exploit mitigations and security mechanisms as part of authorized research.
• Build tooling and research infrastructure to improve discovery, analysis, and reproducibility.
• Communicate progress, risks, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor researchers, review technical work, and promote rigorous documentation.
• Lead small to medium-sized teams, ensuring technical quality and alignment with objectives.
