Strava is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead complex security programs across Engineering, Infrastructure Product, Legal, Operations, and beyond. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of program management experience with security-focused programs and a solid understanding of security concepts.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of program management delivering complex software and security programs.
• Experience with security controls, risk reduction, and compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, NIST CSF).
• Experience defining program scope, success metrics, and milestone plans.
• Proven ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Track record of fostering collaboration across engineering, product design, legal, IT, operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end delivery of multi-quarter security initiatives from proposal through launch, rollout, and optimization.
• Coordinate execution across Engineering, IT, Product, Legal, and GRC to align teams across time zones.
• Own program communications with status updates, metrics, and risk logs for stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks through dependency, resourcing, and requirements assessments.
• Serve as the escalation channel for delivery risks and blockers.
• Implement and maintain tooling workflows in Jira, Confluence, Airtable to support roadmapping and documentation.
