Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Manager, Facility Security Officer (FSO) for the Portsmouth, RI site. You will provide strategic oversight and daily management of security operations, ensuring protection of personnel, facilities, and assets while maintaining full compliance with NISPOM requirements, SEAD 3, and Continuous Vetting obligations.

You will interface with the DCSA as KMP for the facility. The role requires a strong background in industrial security, DoD clearance processes, and experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of industrial security experience, including at least 5 years as an FSO for a cleared facility.
• Current FSO certification for a possessing facility.
• Experience with the National Industrial Security Program and working with DCSA or Cognizant Security Agencies.
• Experience with Microsoft Products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall industrial security program and ensure compliance with NISPOM and related obligations.
• Lead annual Self-Inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, deliver, and oversee security training, education, and awareness programs.
• Coordinate internal and DCSA security reviews and prepare documentation.
• Manage accountability and handling of classified information and related equipment.
• Coordinate with ISSM on classified area operations and system authorization requirements.
• Oversee physical security for the site, including access control and security systems.
• Conduct administrative inquiries and investigations and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Collect, analyze, and report security metrics to support program oversight.
