Job summary

Puyenpa is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Security) for an upcoming proposal supporting the F-35 JPO Security Services Contract. The role is a full-time, on-site position located in Arlington, VA or Patuxent River, MD, requiring an active DoD Top Secret clearance.

As a senior advisor and project leader, you will oversee security initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful execution of program requirements in a dynamic DoD environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• 10+ years of professional experience in program, project, acquisition, security, or DoD functions.
• Ability to independently manage complex projects and provide senior-level guidance.
• Familiarity with the DoD 5000 Acquisition Framework and processes.
• 4+ years of general security experience and experience handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of security programs supporting F-35 JPO requirements.
• Provide senior-level PM support across multiple functional areas aligned to cost, schedule, and performance goals.
• Advise government leadership on status, risks, issues, and mitigations.
• Coordinate activities among government personnel, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Develop executive-level briefings, reports, and project documentation.
• Facilitate meetings, working groups, and program reviews.
• Track deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics.
• Support DoD acquisition guidance and processes in program management.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for mission success.
• Mentor project teams and contribute to continuous process improvement.
