Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field.
• Seven or more years of experience with infrastructure systems and cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS and Azure is preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft certifications are preferred.
• Must pass fingerprint and background check due to working with sensitive data.
• Hybrid work arrangement with regular access to the duty station in Olympia, WA.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise application security solutions for on-premises and cloud environments.
• Lead and mentor Analysts in internal security reviews and remediation actions.
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and configuration management activities.
• Maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POAM) and security documentation.
• Collaborate with Incident Response and Architecture teams on security initiatives.
• Provide surge support during periods of increased workload or operational demands.
