Job summary

Workday seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to support federal contracts and help expand into air-gapped classified cloud environments. You will be the Cyber Defense presence, handling vulnerability management, incident response, threat hunting, and threat detection, working closely with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance is required.
• 5+ years of experience in security consultancy, security operations, response, or threat detection.
• 2+ years of hands-on technical leadership experience.
• Experience deploying and monitoring systems in AWS or Microsoft Top Secret clouds.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support one or more US Federal Government contracts as cybersecurity engineer.
• Build and operate cyber defense functions: vulnerability management, incident response, threat hunting, and threat detection.
• Coordinate with customers and cyber defense teams to ensure consistency across environments.
