Securitas USA is seeking experienced Security Officers for full-time roles in St. Louis, MO. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $20.10 per hour, with a Thursday–Saturday schedule and a 32-hour work week (Mon-Wed & Sat, 12AM–8AM).

The role involves access control, patrolling, and maintaining a safe environment for client sites. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service, and security experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Security experience required.
• Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Reliable means of transportation needed.

Responsibilities

• The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations.
• They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
