Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Security Officer in Richmond Heights, MO. The role involves maintaining a safe environment, monitoring premises, controlling access, patrolling sites, and enforcing client regulations.

The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or GED, strong customer service, calm under pressure, and the ability to work a night shift Fri-Tues 2300-0700. Training provided.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Driving record must meet company and / or insurance standards.
• Must be alert and observant.
• Must be responsible and dependable.
• Reliable means of transportation needed.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Camera monitoring.
• Access control duties.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
