Job summary

Apogee Engineering invites an experienced Security Management Specialist to join the SOF AT&L program office at MacDill AFB, Florida. The role focuses on acquisition security management, classification, and documentation support to protect sensitive programs of record.

You will collaborate with government and industry partners, ensuring compliance with DoW and SOCOM regulations while supporting program protection and information security activities in a dynamic maritime environment.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizen required.
• Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility required.
• Minimum 10 years in a related security field.
• Familiarity with DoD/OPM security regulations and program protection.

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition security management within PEO-Maritime programs of record.
• Draft, edit, and update security documents with program managers and security offices.
• Coordinate with government and industry stakeholders to enhance security measures.
• Collaborate with SOF AT&L, HQ SOCOM J2X, and HQ SOCOM AIB on security procedures.
• Demonstrate understanding of acquisition security measures and documentation workflows.
• Draft, review, and process security documents in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with DoW and SOCOM security regulations and policies.
• Support classification management and program security activities.
• Engage stakeholders to advance mission-driven security objectives.
