Job summary

Uber’s Human Risk Management team is seeking a Senior Security Technologist to build and run Uber’s security learning and awareness program within Engineering Security. You will design a risk-based curriculum, tailor content to audiences, and use data to assess behavioral change.

This role combines security expertise with instructional design, creating measurable learning objectives, scripts, storyboards, and e-learning content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in security awareness and learning programs.
• Hands-on instructional design with measurable objectives.
• Strong written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with SCORM/xAPI and LMS.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content development.

Responsibilities

• Own the security awareness curriculum and define topics and audience mapping.
• Develop training modules with scripts, storyboards, and assessments.
• Create content for elevated-risk audiences and localization-ready content.
• Package modules for Uber Learning Platform with SCORM/xAPI and report completion.
• Deliver campaigns ahead of calendar across email, Slack, intranet, video.
• Measure engagement and outcomes using phishing sims and security data.
• Collaborate with Security, Communications, L&D, People and business teams.
• Evaluate licensed third-party content and use approved AI tools.
